As an electronics engineer, you are responsible for all the hardware in the car. This includes all the sensors, ECU, cables, etc. Besides, we will optimize the car and look into new innovative ideas. Recharging is very important at InMotion. The placement of the charging socket, choosing connectors and all other specifications of the charger are included in the electronics.
As a mechanical engineer, you are responsible for all the mechanical parts in the car. This includes suspension, cooling loops, etc. Battery cells have to be in a specific temperature range to be functional. This temperature has to be controlled while charging. Besides this, there will be testing and development on the current battery pack. Research has to be done to improve and get to Le Mans in 2023!
Parallel aan het testen en ontwikkelen van het huidige batterijpakket, moet er ook onderzoek worden gedaan naar de lange termijn. Welke cellen gaan we gebruiken in 2023 in Le Mans? Wat zijn de huidige ontwikkelingen in batterijtechniek?
As a software engineer, you are responsible for all software in the car. All programming is done in Matlab Simulink. This means that you are responsible for the control systems and other software. Besides, we will optimize the car and there will be new innovative ideas for improvement. Furthermore, data acquisition is important. This includes converting raw data to usable data.
We expect that you are a student with lots of motivation while communicating with the rest of the team! We aim to have a minimum of 12 hours for part-time members! Most students are studying Mechanical engineering, automotive, or electro! However, everyone is welcome, also from other studies!
Experience! A lot of space to develop yourself, get to know the industry, and make relations with partners while extending your own network!
