The previous week the InMotion office has dispersed to all over the Netherlands. From Friesland to Limburg, our members are now working from their home offices in combat against the spread of the coronavirus. You can see all of our beautiful offices on our Instagram and Facebook! All of this means we have had to change our way of working to fit this new situation.
Firstly, we only allow members to work at HQ if it is absolutely necessary and the work cannot be done from home. Even then, we have strict guidelines that say having even a small cough means you will work from home as well. And for the members who do not have work that has to be done at HQ, they work from home. For some this means home-home, for others their student homes in Eindhoven. Everyone is trying to find the most suitable place for them to do their work.
All of our meetings have been either postponed or altered to be taking place digitally. This measure is for meetings with external people as well as among the team. So far we’ve really been enjoying the call functions in Teams and Slack in order to keep our routine meetings going as usual. Of course, that doesn’t always go exactly as planned. We encounter bad connections, audio problems and people not paying attention and missing the call.
A number of our planned events has been postponed or cancelled. So pay attention to our social media to stay up to date on what the new dates are. The open days in may are still planned to continue. If this changes you will hear it through our social media channels.
Luckily, these things shouldn’t halt our progress much. We try to keep working as efficiently and normally as we can to keep up with our planning of this year. So even from home, InMotion will be charging ahead!
