In the past month, a series of social media posts regarding our timeline was published. To give you a heads-up; at the moment, the team is working hard to achieve the goals of this summer. The goals are to have a rolling chassis and a battery prototype. Some of our subteams are steadily reaching the production phase, such as the electronics group. They have almost finished the final configuration for the low-voltage systems and will start producing the wiring loom this month. Others, such as both the chassis and suspension team will finish the designs this month and the battery team is making the final configuration for the battery pack.
Once the 2019 goals are achieved, the focus will be mainly on reducing the charging time every year and increasing the battery capacity with the final goal of developing Electric Refuelling. In the end, InMotion believes innovation is best achieved in a challenging environment, where the conditions are the most extreme. Conditions that will ensure, if they are met, that Electric Refueling is ready for use by anybody. There is nothing more challenging than driving a car for 24 hours long over more than 5000 kilometres and thus the goal is to drive the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023.
